Terms of use
Last updated:
This platform is an academic research tool for designing surveys, collecting responses, and analysing them. By using it you agree to the following.
Who may register
Registration is limited to holders of email addresses issued by the institutions listed on the sign-up page. An account is created only after the address is proven through an activation link.
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and for everything done under your account. Enabling two-factor authentication from your account page is recommended.
Your space and your responsibility for its data
Every registrant gets an independent space. Your surveys, responses, and participants are not readable from another space, and you cannot read anyone else’s.
You — not the platform — are the responsible researcher: for participant consent, for your institution’s ethics approval where required, and for the lawfulness of what you collect and what you do with it.
Do not use the platform to collect highly sensitive data outside your institution’s controls, or to email people who have not agreed to hear from you.
Operational limits
Each space has a maximum number of surveys and members, shown and adjustable by the system administrator. The limit blocks new creation and never touches what already exists.
An account registered but not activated within fourteen days is deleted along with its empty space.
Suspension and termination
The platform administrator may suspend an account used in a way that harms the system or others. Suspension blocks sign-in and does not delete study data.
You may request deletion of your space and its contents at any time.
No warranty
The platform is provided as is. We keep periodic backups, but that is no substitute for exporting your data and keeping your own copy — the results screen offers several export formats, and the archive screen stores a whole study in one file.
For questions about these terms, contact your institution’s system administrator.
